Join American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) for an in-person training on understanding and planning Direct Actions rooted in Nonviolent principles. Participants will identify the benefits of nonviolent principles, explore what components make an action effective, and clarify their personal beliefs about the risks and rewards of speaking truth to power. It will focus on tools like examining your own commitment to different roles as well as brainstorming and workshopping ideas with your action team or in small groups.
